Welcome to Ginhawa PH!
Ginhawa is a local brand originating from Davao City. It was created by a Manileña-turned-Davaoeña, who was struggling to make progress in her own yoga practice. She'd been attending yoga classes regularly for about a year already, and yet she hadn't really mastered any "tricks" or skills. Little did she know that her ordinary mat had a lot to do with it. Instead of focusing on improving her postures and asanas, she was struggling to keep from slipping on her mat every time.
The realization hit her when she borrowed a branded yoga mat from a friend. Her friend swears by it and she’s never had to use a towel once to keep from slipping. It was great, and she was convinced that she needed to upgrade her mat. The only problem was, the mat was too expensive!
After trying and experiencing first-hand the world of difference a good quality mat can do to your confidence on the mat, she decided that every struggling yogi like herself should have an opportunity to own a good quality mat, one that doesn’t necessarily have to break the bank. And that's how the GINHAWA brand was born.

In these chaotic times, filled with challenges, pandemics, and issues, everyone needs a break. A space to call their own, whether for a brief escape, an opportunity to build new ideas, or simply to rest. A space to let go of things that need to be let go of, a space to think and reflect, a comfortable respite, a space to BREATHE. This is what the GINHAWA brand stands for.
